Outside the walls of the church, the body of Christ can do amazing things.

Seed the Need began in 2022 as a small home church in Lewisville, Texas, a simple gathering rooted in prayer, community, and a desire to seek God together. As we met, it became clear that what we were being called into extended beyond a Sunday evening gathering.

Life can change quickly. A missed paycheck. A major repair. A natural disaster. Prolonged stress from caregiving, ministry, or military service.

Too often, people facing these moments feel alone.

Through prayer, discernment, and obedience, a clear conviction formed: we were called to do more.

That calling led to the creation of Seed the Need Ministries, a nonprofit organization established in spring 2023 to widen our reach and respond more fully to the needs of our communities.
